Do you also think that one Math Ball per semester isn’t enough? That’s why we’re hosting another dance night.
Unlike the Math Ball, this one will be more casual and feature a slightly different musical style: the focus will be on salsa and bachata. If you enjoy dancing or would like to learn these dances, you’re more than welcome to join us.
You can come alone, with friends, or as a couple. We’re modeling this event after classic socials, as are common in the salsa and bachata scene.This means you aren’t tied to a specific dance partner and can dance with different people if you’d like. The focus is on having fun dancing and learning together.
At 6:15 p.m., we offer a free introductory class. There, we’ll teach you the basic steps and first moves in bachata and salsa. Afterward, the music will play until around 9:00 p.m.
A little tip: Many of the experienced dancers will be happy to show you more moves if you ask them nicely.
