Office hours (AWD)
During our office hours (AWD) we are available by phone or in person at the office to answer your questions and address your concerns.
Currently, during the lecture-free period, AWD takes place as scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
However, cancellations may occur spontaneously.

What do we do in the office hours?
As the Fachschaft, we want to be your point of contact for any problems, concerns, or questions you may encounter during your studies.
We will listen to you, advise you to the best of our knowledge and belief, or refer you to the appropriate person. Depending on the issue, we can discuss it at the next student council meeting, address it in the relevant committees as your student representatives, contact lecturers, secretaries, or others, and much more.
Of course, not every student who does AWD knows everything about studying mathematics, the organization of the faculty, or has a solution for all the problems in the world. But we will always do our best to help you.
In our office, we have minutes of some old exams. To borrow and copy these you only have to leave behind an ID as collateral.
Additionally, you can take a look at minutes of old oral exams during the office hours. To borrow them (and copy them in the library), you again have to leave an ID as a collateral – to make sure that we get them back the same day. Therefore the minutes rental ends half an hour before the office closes (that means at 13:15).
Lastly, a few students have made their bachelor or master thesis available, so you can take a look during the office hours. Sometimes, we even have the LaTeX template.
